Bio

Jon Schipper is an active performer and educator based in Madison, WI.

He has performed and/or toured with these artists in concert:

Aretha Franklin, Frank Sinatra Jr., Johnny Mathis, John Tesh, The Temptations, Don Rickles, Maria Schneider, Clay Aiken, Cheap Trick, The Four Tops, Jose “Papo” Rivera, Jon Faddis, Wayne Bergeron, Leroy Jones, Roger Ingram, Clyde Stubblefield, Walt Johnson, Wycliffe Gordon, Luisito Rosario, Tom Wopat, Glenn Miller Orchestra, Nelson Riddle Orchestra, Madison Symphony Orchestra

From 1991 to 1996, Jon was a featured soloist with the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps.

He has been featured on many commercial recordings including Apple computers, Culvers, and a film soundtrack.

He regularly performs with many local groups including Isthmus Brass, Phat Phunktion, The Michael Walters Orchestra and The Big Payback. 

Jon is Director of Bands at Madison Country Day School in Waunakee, WI.
